I am a 40-something woman living in the South of England with my husband, Darren and cat Fred where sewing is my full time endeavour. I recently gave up working in the charity sector to pursue my love of dressmaking.I mainly sew for myself and those close to me; I share my dressmaking life on Youtube and through the medium of video I hope to offer value to YOUR sewing life.
Being able to sew is a fantastic hobby to have, there is always a new skill to learn or improvements to be made. As a plus size person, I often found that patterns did not work for me in my size range, so I can feel your frustration at having to work out fit issues, making numerous toiles, and frankly losing my mind over instructions. That’s why I have your back – I want to save you the lost HOURS of frustration I’ll never recover, and help you to make your way through your sewing journey as speedily and easily as possible.
